Pertamina Retail was established in 1997 and initially registered as a lube company PT Petrajaya Lubrindo. In 2005, the company transformed into PT Pertamina Retail with business specializes in managing retail gas stations, oil trading and oil transportation services. The Company is a directly-owned subsidiary company of PT Pertamina (Persero), the national oil company of Indonesia. As of December 2013, PT Pertamina (Persero) owns a 99.97% shares in Pertamina Retail. Other 0.03% was owned by PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK). Headquartered in Jakarta, Pertamina Retail now has 98 fueling stations (SPBU), 31 transportable fueling stations (SPUB-T), and 201 Bright Outlets spread in 8 regional offices across the Country. In 2013, Pertamina Retail succeeded in achieving acceptable and sound growth.
