Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Republik Indonesia - BAWASLU is the Election Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. BAWASLU is a non ministrial state-agency in Indonesia with overseeing the administration of elections in the entire territory of Indonesia. BAWASLU was established in 2007 by Act No 22 of 2007 Section 70 of the General Election. The Institution is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl MH Thamrin No 14 Jakarta Pusat. BAWASLU has 6 commisioners -including 1 chairman. As of August 2014, the commisioners if BAWASLU are Muhammad (Chairman), Nasrullah, Daniel Zuchron, Endang Wihdatiningtyas, Nelson Simanjuntak and Gunawan Suswantoro.
