Bank Danamon Indonesia is one of the largest commercial banks in Indonesia. The name "Danamon" is an abbreviation of "Monetary Fund" which is taken to be the name of Bank replaces the previous name "Bank Kopra", established from 1956 the Bank was officially established and used his name the first time in 1976 with a few additions into Bank Danamon Indonesia . Bank Danamon is the first bank that pioneered the exchange of foreign currency in 1976 and its shares are listed on the stock exchange since 1989.
